In today's complex and always changing IT industry, the future is to say the least, very complicated with a whole slew of various platforms, applications and solutions promising to help you deal with disruption in any industry you choose to name. And things aren't getting easier anytime soon.

Faced with that huge degree of complexity, sometimes the best response is the simplest one-- sit still, listen carefully, ponder all your options and then think wisely before acting.

Case in point: to mark the launch of its Hyper Converged 380 System, HPE’s Accelerating Simplicity event will bring together a top class lineup of various experts at a glittering rooftop venue in Berlin who will serve up drinks and food on how to manage innovation within your own organization.

And if that’s not enough, anyone registering to watch the live streaming event or attend the conference could snag some tasty tech prizes, courtesy of HPE.

Heading the event is Alec Ross, the author of New York Times bestseller The Industries of the Future.

A former senior advisor for technology and innovation at Hillary Clinton’s State Department and Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, Alec will give you an in-depth overview of how businesses can understand our rapidly changing IT industry, and then seize some opportunities.

Ross will also be describing the upcoming industries and technologies which will shake up the economy as a whole, for better or worse, from robotics, to IoT, to healthcare to transport, etc.

Additionally, whether you’re just a startup or an long-established business, he’ll be outlining several ways to manage workplace innovation as well.

Alec will be joined by Dr Vladimir Stantchev, managing director for the Institute of Information Systems, SRH Berlin, and Dr Gerrit Tamm, Professor of Computer Science at SRH Berlin.

Together with a host of other IT industry experts, including HPE’s general manager of servers Iain Stephens, and converged data centre infrastructure vice president Paul Durzan, they will be able to offer some insight about various strategies and tactics to help users come out on top, whether you’re in transportation, retail, healthcare, manufacturing or the public sector.

Helping Alec, Vladimir and Gerrit, to keep the conversation moving along will be Wired editor-in-chief Nikolaus Roettger, and BBC technology reporter, Kate Russell.

There will also be customers from the healthcare, mobility and education segments sharing insights on how HPE’s hyper-converged systems are already transforming their business.
